This is my first time to Hakata and want to enjoy the famous local dishes. When I just sit down, the chair is broken and I get hurt. No one comes to see if I’m okay. Waitress only gives me a bag of ice without saying sorry and the owner hides in the kitchen. I’m very angry I have to bear it just bec...ause I’m a foreigner and cannot speak Japanese.

Famous restaurant for beef intestines hot pot. I tried the same dish before but this was my first time with this famous one of 10/F of Hakata Station. I went solo for lunch on a Saturday at 1pm. Waited in line for around 20mins. Very nice that they offer the speciality hot pot for 1 person. But hone...stly only so-so to compare with other small non-chain restaurants. But the grilled fish roe was delightful!

Motsunabe (hot pot with intestines) is, beside Ramen, a speciality of Fukuoka, and in this city there are many Motsunabe restaurants. As my wife had never eaten it before, I brought her to this restaurant in Amu Plaza. In my opinion, it was quite good, although I personally prefer Shabushabu. But my... wife didn't like Motsunabe much.

This is a restaurant only offer cow intestines and beef tripe hotspot. The intestines are very fat full of oil. A lot of vegetables and the soup is very delicious. The basic hotpot is only 1230 yen, you can order extra bean curd, chicken meat balls. Worth to try.

We were nervous about trying Motunabe, but this place smelled and looked enticing, so we plucked up the courage. The set menu made it easy to order, and the food tasted delicious. Some of the textures were a little challenging, but the experience was worth it.
