Il Cipresso

I'm in love with this place! From the amazing local produce that is sourced, to the fine preparation and considered wine matches, ristorantino Il Cipresso is faultless. I'd say go big or go home... so just leave it to the chef to surprise you course after course... Oh what a very memorable nigh...t we had enjoying the kind hospitality!

Had such a fun night here! Came by myself to have a night off from Japanese food. I chose the 5 course dinner - every plate was delicious! And the waitress there was so friendly and helpful, she asked me what my plans were during my time in Kagoshima and wrote down buses, bus times etc. I would defi...nitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Italian food and having a chat to locals!

I have been to many Italian restaurants around the world and I can confidently say that this is one of the best I have frequented. It has great service, a lovely atmosphere and most importantly, the food is top-notch. They make excellent pasta sauces here which take like those you would find in Ital...y, probably due to the fact that the chef has lived and cooked in Italy for a good number of years. All in all, you definitely can't go wrong coming here on an evening out. Highly recommended.
