“Spectacular omakase/kaiseki meal”
We've eaten well on our honeymoon tour of Japan, but Kawasho far surpassed expectations. Every course was delicate, balanced, and a delight to my tastebuds. I'm a sushi fiend, but my husband was maxed out on raw fish. The kaiseki menu was a perfect balance for us. At 10,000 yen, its not cheap, but ...such a wonderful splurge. Sashimi, soup, steamed course, sushi, a genius toro roll. It was a feast -- even better than the meals we had in Tokyo!

“For sushi lovers”
went here with my wife on a friday evening. the staff doesn't really speak english, which they easily made up for by being super eager to try and help. as I'm a fussy eater they specially made up some non-fish rolls for me and my wife had the - quote - best sushi in my life!! we sat downstairs right... at the bar and the chef prepared all the sushi right in front of us which was also great to see. for my vegetarian rolls plus a soup and around 10 fish sushi and 2-3 others for the wife as well as sake and tea it cost us roughly 10'000 yen. I think the 10 fish ones were 50'000 yen.

“Sushi par excellence”
This restaurant happened to be around the corner from the Floral Hotel, where we were staying. We dropped in for a late lunch and they were very pleased to see us (some restaurants would have turned as away as it was close to this lunch closing time). Well the selection of sushi was excellent and we... just kept ordering. My wife was in heaven. Mind you, we did run up pricey amount for lunch, but this was probably the best sushi we have had in eons.
