Only served the chicken hotpot and not much else, prefer Toriden. Being the highest rated chicken hotpot restaurant in Fukuoka I had equally high expectations. I was left disappointed because the overall experience was a let down: (1) the dining room had around 15 tables all eating the chicken hotpo...t so the restaurant was hot and filled with steam from 15 gas stoves cooking at the same time, ventilation was poor, (2) the tables were small so whilst we were eating, the steam coming off the chicken hotpot was affecting our appetite, (3) there were very few add on items, we ordered the fried chicken was underwhelmed.

“Good quality of chicken”
The main characteristic of dishes is the 水炊, which mean cooked in water. But actually the Ingredients are cooked in chicken soup stock. The quality of chicken is very impressive. If you prefer some tradition Japanese food besides Sushi and Ramen, this place may be a good choose in Fukuoka.
