YAKINIKUTENGU

Among all the yakiniku restaurants I visited during my trip to Okinawa, this was by far the most memorable. Not only can you enjoy premium Okinawan Wagyu and the famous Ishigaki Beef, but this is also one of the few places in Okinawa where you can experience an all-you-can-eat Wagyu menu. The quali...ty of the meat was exceptional, especially the thick-cut beef tongue and the sukiyaki-style sirloin, which were absolutely delicious. If you’re looking to enjoy high-quality Japanese Wagyu, this place is a must. The restaurant uses smokeless grills, so even after enjoying a full yakiniku meal, your clothes and hair won’t smell like smoke. It’s perfect for visitors who want to continue sightseeing or shopping afterward. The restaurant was also very clean, modern, and comfortable. What impressed me the most was the outstanding service. Every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They happily recommended their best cuts of meat and even showed us the best way to grill each one. Their warm hospitality made our dinner one of the highlights of our Okinawa trip. Another pleasant surprise was discovering that the second floor is home to their affiliated large party venue and bar, which is well known in Okinawa. It offers karaoke, darts, and plenty of entertainment, making it perfect for groups, private parties, wedding after-parties, or special events. Being able to enjoy premium yakiniku downstairs and continue the evening upstairs is a unique experience that you won’t find at many places. If you’re visiting Okinawa and want to taste authentic Okinawan Wagyu, Ishigaki Beef, or experience one of the island’s few all-you-can-eat Wagyu restaurants, I highly recommend Yakiniku Tengu. I will definitely come back on my next trip to Okinawa!

Easily found, just south of the Sunrise Kanko Hotel. Great menus with lots of dishes to choose from. We chose mostly Okinawan dishes and had a great meal.
