“A special culinary experience but a bit pricey”
Decided to try this restaurant specializing in Kyushu style hotpots with spicy mentaiko cod roe for something different. We went there early on a weekend evening and there were plenty of seats - the restaurant was packed with locals when we leave. Limited was limited - it is a specialty restaurant ...- and the signature hotpot was enough for two. Servings of code roe was liberal, though I saw some others adding additional servings of cod roe. Hotpot was good and mentaiko fresh, but mentaiko do not come cheap so the meal was a bit pricey but if you are looking for a different experience it is certainly worth a try.
