Really love their cube steak. The sauce is good too. I love how cozy & cool this place is. The lunch set is really recommended. Good food, good price, good place👏🏻

Returning to Tokyo after a two year hiatus, Tsukiji Satou still serves up some of the most extraordinary beef out there: the Holy Grail of Steak. Most of the cuts of meat served are Matsusaka beef (otherwise known as Kurogewagyuu or black haired wagyuu – 黒毛和牛). These female virgin cows are from a pa...rticular catchment area with characteristic marbling patterns bridging on fine art. With that said, we sampled both of what would be considered a New York cut as well as a Gokujyo Filet. Equally exceptional in their own rights, but coming from a non-filet fan: the Filet was extraordinary! Superlatives do not do Satou's steaks justice: superb - incomparable - outstanding! Some memories of our trip to Tokyo will fade over time, but the flavour and texture of Tsukiji Satou's steak accompanied by their most conscientious of service will be ingrained for a lifetime. Definitely worthy of many a return visit....

A nice quiet and quaint Japanese Steak House serving really tasty and well cooked (medium is medium) Japanese Beef...you have choice of Tajima, Matsuzaka, and higher grade beef! They have an English speaking staff which proved very helpful. We had Matsuzaka beef and we were marvelling at the taste o...f meat at every bite! Yes will be back anytime we can!

This is, by far, the best steak that we've ever eaten. This is also the highest price that we ever paid for a steak – almost $300 for a 150 gr. highest grade Matsusaka beef fillet (plus appetizer, miso soup, Japanese pickles, rice, etc.). I was invited to a business dinner here, the host had reserved a room for the dinner. I arrive slightly early and was seated first. I do know the Japanese etiquette that a guest suppose to sit facing the entrance. But the staff placed the single setting on the opposite side and the guest side with t...wo settings. Naturally, I pick the side with single setting to sit down. When the host arrived, the restaurant insist that I have to change to the guest side…a real pain. I leave the ordering to the host and we had a wonderful five course meal. The beef was excellent, but somehow not the best u have ever had in Japan. But I was glad the cut was not too oily as some of the premium cut can be, Hida beef is a bit like that. Service was good, which is kind of expected at restaurant of this caliber and charge. Would I return? Probably not for the price they charge. But, the chef did come out and greet us and bid us farewell when we leave.
