“Birthday Dinner for My Younger Son”
Birthday dinner for my younger son with my wife. We enjoyed a variety of Japanese dishes. We finished dinner with a birthday plate.

Since the restaurant was near our hotel, we went there for oden dinner. The restaurant is on the 29th floor with great Tokyo night views. I believe a lot of people go for the view. We ordered Kyoto style oden, yakitori plate and Kyoto style egg omelet (tamagoyaki). All of them were good but not spec...tacular. We have eaten better oden elsewhere. Yakitori was tender and offered different parts of chicken. The egg omelet was fine, but you can eat a better one in Kyoto. The service was attentive and efficient. I should say that, since its menu have a lot more dishes, the review based on just three dishes may not be fair. If you go to Godaigo with several people, you may enjoy a wide variety of Japanese food.
