Hostile experience, we thought we could reject the side dish but the waiter threaten us saying it’s a “Japanese Rule” saying we have to take it. Never have I experience such a terrible attitude and was never told that it is a Japanese rule when I visited other yakitori restaurant. They gave us all b...urnt dishes and the cook was not concentrating on grilling the skewers! Will never go back again!

Skewers that we have ordered were not up to standard. Waiting time for the skewer were exceptionally Long as well... Expensive, and For the price we are paying, totally not worth it.

It is not my first time visiting this outlet . We visited the outlet located in Shinjuku around 2pm on March 18 2018, and they gave us one of the worst experience we ever had in Japan. We are given very very hostile / biased treatment by the waiter manning the entrance right from the begining afte...r we said we don't understand Japanese language. Incident 1 He gave me a very unhappy look and turn back facing us, pull out 2 chairs and walk off without saying anything. Next, he gave us english menu and gave us COLD towels when we saw other table are given hot towel. Incident 2 We called him to take order but he simply ignore us despite making eye contact with us. He only bother to take our order after our 3rd try. Incident 3 I had a bottle drink that i brought from outside and I leave it on the table. He used a very stern tone and commanded me to keep the bottle inside my bag with finger pointing. I was very surprise and told him I`m not drinking but he insisted. We felt quite intimidated. Incident 4 Like I mention previously, this is not my first time eating here. The food served to us is sub standard. Food is barely grilled . The quill egg is cold inside, the chicken skin taste like boiled skin than a grilled cripsy skin. Really disapointing. Didnt expect this in Japan after visiting numerous restaurant .

Went into the restaurant at 1600hrs with not much customers in sight. Was informed by the grumpy Specky waiter that every customer has to order 1 drink each and My little girl was not allowed to sleep while we eat. I spend 14k+ Yen within an hour and got such a horrible service. You all have been in...formed. Enter at your own risk.
