We had our dinner there on the last night of our stay. The place is appropriately furnished the Italian way and keeping enough space between tables. The services were excellent throughout the dinner. We had a bottle of Italian wine which was recommended by the restaurant manager and it was great. Th...e foods we ordered which including grilled pork; grilled chicken, salad, pasta, mussels and deserts were great and at a very reasonable price. The main courses were prepared right in front of us by the chef and a special kind of wood has been used for grilling the meat which creates a strong charcoal favour on the foods. I can see that the chef was cooking with heart and in the right manner.

Agio has a good fit-out so you can imagine you are really off in Italy somewhere enjoying your meal. Staff were very polite and helpful. Good quality meals with reasonable presentation. Nice meat dishes, fish, pizza and salads. Massive serve of icecream for the kids! Price was not bad, although so...me meat dishes seemed expensive (4 smallish lamb cultets were about ¥3,800). Most of the other dishes were quite reasonably priced. No toilets inside the restaurant was a mild inconvenience, but they are not far away on the same floor.

Particularly affordable Italian dining in Ikebukuro @ the Sunshine City complex. Open kitchen atmosphere with a tasteful and relaxing "produce market" motif. No English spoken, but it certainly does not affect the service. Favorite item: smoked salmon brick oven pizza, with almost liquid thin slice...s of garlic baked in. Excellent presentation abounds. Best Italian food I've had outside of Italy! Price for 2 around $35-40.
