“Seemed very expensive and like a tourist trap”
This was the only restaurant that we really disliked, in our 10 day trip to Tokyo and Kyoto. It seemed very overpriced compared with the other restaurants, which all seemed so reasonable, probably due to a very good exchange rate when we went. We were able to get high quality sushi (in a very casual... spot) for $1/2 pieces, in the sam area of town as this restaurant. This restaurant seemed like pricing for high end US steak restaurants. And, when we went in, we were amazed that most of the people in the restaurant looked like white tourists (I would even say white middle aged & senior aged Americans - just like us, admittedly). This is also something different than everywhere else - we usually felt surrounded by many asians, in Tokyo. So, between that and the very high prices, it felt like a tourist trap that our hotel had sent us to.

“Good food but ASK for a la carte menu, if you don't want All you can eat”
minus 1 star because they had 2 English menus. 1 English menu with ONLY ALL you can eat which was like 2360 yen per person! ONLY IF YOU ASK, do they give the other English menu which has a la carte which was like 5000 Yen per person. minus another star because we didn't get the cool cooker: There... are 2 types of tables, 1 with big deep set cooking, other with 2 hot plates However, the food was good. It comes with noodles or rice. and the noodles were different for Sukiyaki vs. shabushabu As mentioned by others, service is slow. e.g. take your time to get the bill. Bathroom is clean. Server was taking care of several tables.

“Slow slow slow”
High quality food but slow as molasses. Do not come with children, and don’t bother ordering rice. (It will take forever).

“Shabu Shabu and Sukiyaki in Shibuya”
Always a staple when in Tokyo. You can order the grade of wagyu beef and either shabu shabu or sukiyaki or both for a small extra charge per person. Even the lowest grade of beef is delicious.

“Sukiyaki supreme”
The best shabu shabu and sukiyaki in Tokyo ……food was excellent and so was service. Dishes were excellent, not to miss the tomato salad….worth the price paid for and more !
