“Excellent japanese homestyle meal in a sleek setting”
If you don't speak Japanese, don't worry! They have English menus and English speaking staff. Make sure you go early and plan to spend at least two hours eating and waiting for food. It seems the more fried and cooked food took a really long time to make. They told me the kitchen was slammed even... though it didn't seem that crowded in there. The dishes were traditional, yet inventive at the same time. I ate things I never heard of (powdered soy sauce and sesame!!) with other amazing foods and preparations. It really felt like a secret treasure we found. I discovered it by poking my head in. Simple as that. Best part: Its really affordable. Its cheaper than kaiseki menus.
