I came here with a Japanese friend on their recommendation, as a good place to experience a range of Japanese foods. We did try a few dishes, and all were very good. This included some things I have never had before, like small chewy squares of fish paste. There was also a delicious unagi (eel) dish.... All this was washed down with a Japanese sparkling wine, also delicious. The service was good and there is a nice calm relaxed ambiance. They have an English menu. This restaurant is very close to Shinjuku station, and near a lot of the big shops, so a good place to eat after shopping or sightseeing.
