“Great Sukiyaki restaurant ”
Its has been a year that I last reviewed this great sukiyaki restaurant. Not to be missed if ever one is in Tokyo. Service is still excellent! Friendly and well trained staff cooking for you. Price on the high side but it’s all worth it because of the quality involved. The beef and veggies were dipp...ed in egg and the sukiyaki sauce. Need bookings or one will be disappointed!

“Best Sukiyaki in my life”
It is a traditional restaurant under my hotel. The restaurant was one of the top for Sukiyaki in Japan, according to table ranking. We had a private room and the staff in traditional outfit kept serving us the entire time. What I ordered was a lunch menu for beef sukiyaki. There was a seasonal appeti...zer which was very delicious - especially for the crunchy gingko. The staff served beef piece by piece. The best part, though, was actually the dessert - an ice cream made of soy and another piece of sweet that gave a very firm mouse taste. Ah Yum!

“Great Lunch”
Spanking new Imahan at the former Prince hotel in Akazaka! Totally new buildings this restaurant is a wonderful place for sukiyaki or shabu2. The meats were marbled, melt in your mouth experience! The veg, rice and remaining sauce with eggs were delicious! Price on the high end! Rooms were wonderful...ly decorated with Japanese ornaments and tatami mats.

“Happy we found it”
We asked our hotel about this Imahan and they recommended and booked a table for us. We had a most delightful sukiyaki lunch prepared by Ms Makiko Kitajima. Everything was cooked to perfection in an elegant style. We were admiring a little decoration piece in one of the dishes and Makiko wrapped it ...in a nice sheet of paper as a souvenir for us! Japanese hospitality is second to none.We also had the most amazing egg fried rice - without oil!
