“Good place for a real hotpot experience!”
If you want to try a real hotpot (not the fast/small-kind or yaki-kind like Shabu Shabu or Sukiyaki, but the one where you place a lot of things in a deep pan for a longer time) you have to try the Chanko Nabe here. The staff was very friendly and understand English as well, they have an English men...u too. The only one thing I was wondering about is that they serve a lot of (chicken) meat as a dish beforehand if you take the course, felt a bit weird, but yeah it is meant as a protein-rich meal so I get why they do it. Maybe you can take Chanko Nabe as a single dish as well. Other than that: I recommend this restaurant for a unique Japanese experience!

“Exquisite”
I cannot praise this restaurant enough. It's an Izakaya, specialized in chankonabe. The staff is lovely, the food is sublime. (The miso based broth is to die for...) And, considering what you get, not expensive at all. Go there.
