“Great Restaurant”
The food was delicious and the staff was wonderfull. My wife ordered chicken on hot stone with broth and I the Pork bento. Both were exceptional. Very traditional you have to take your shoes off but you have midhigh chairs. Enjoy! Recommended

“Beautifully decorated dishes and yummy chicken bone broth!!”
This restaurant offers private room dining. We took course menu, and each dish was so beautifully decorated, and the main chicken bone broth soup was delicious! They even prepared dishes for small children and they were yummy. It's not the typical Japanese food you think, but the taste is delicat...e and guaranteed high quality. Definitely recommend to who goes to Tokyo, or even to friends who live in Tokyo!

“great soup for winter and also for beauty”
The staff is very polite but spoke minimal english. However , they have english menu and we didnt have any trouble communicating with them . The collagen chicken soup was amazing, and we are amazed at how well they thought of the cutleries for dining. A ladle for the soup, a slotted ladle to dish ...out the chicken etc. The kameyakeshi rice was really delicious, we ordered the minced chicken and crab. We came for lunch and it was full-house. we had to wait for 30 minutes for a table. pricewise is slightly on the high end , but i think the cooking process of the chicken soup is very elaborate.

“Great Dinner Option”
The location of the restn is out of the busy street of Shinjuku. Menu is all written in Japanese & no English option. We just try our luck by pointing to a set menu and mention for 2 of us :P We didn't make a reservation but lucky to get a table for 2. We were sat in the internal part of the restn.... Near the main entrance, there's tatami sitting area. Different entrance from normal seating area. We didn't see any other tourist dining our visit. Food were good and reasonable price. Their speciality is a chicken cook in soup (like hot pot). It was very good and tasty. Chicken was tender and juicy. Photos of the food attached. After the chicken soup dish, we were served a porridge with egg. It is so simple but done tastefully. We enjoyed our meal here very much! Service were attentive and friendly too!

“Very good, beautiful setting, excellent food”
This restaurant is focused on chicken, and seems be especially known for a sort of "hotpot," like a milky soup with pieces of chicken and chicken meatballs floating in it. They also had a remarkable chicken sashimi-like course (fully cooked, though), and a smoked chicken course. Dessert was an unusu...al creme brûlée with what appeared to be soba noodles layered on top (much better than it sounds). A wide range of drinks, from many sakes, to plum wine, to shochu. The service was excellent and attentive, and the setting was beautiful, very minimalistic Japanese design, light coloured wood panels. You leave your shoes at the entrance, and eat sitting at floor level (though your feet reside comfortably in a well, so it's not really like sitting on the floor, except when you have to stand up). There's also a giant drum in the entry way that you get to hit, very satisfying, and supposedly it also brings you good luck.
