Gyu-Kaku Shinjukuhigashiguchiten

We went to one of their stores in Hiroshima and enjoyed our time. We ordered al la carte that time. All other tables around us were doing the buffet and seem to be having a good time. On our last night in Tokyo we decided to give the all you can eat a try. We put our orders through. On the first d...ocket only the vegetable dishes came so we thought maybe the meat were being prepared by a different person. We waited and only got 1 plate of the 3 meats we ordered. Thinking the all you can eat thing was gimmicky we thought maybe the serving of the meat was slow on purpose, we continued to just keep ordering before they came. Now some of our orders came through and some didn’t. We were afraid that they may bring everything at once near the end so we refrained from ordering the same things again. So we finally followed up with one of the English speaking workers and she seemed to have fix some of the ordering problems we had. However we were still missing items. Although the iPad they give you has a list of things you ordered, it is all in Japanese. So not knowing Japanese, you can’t even point out what’s missing or not with the wait staff. Other tables don’t seem to have the same issue as us but they were native Japanese speakers. Maybe they were able to follow up sooner than we can. Overall not really worth it for the all you can eat.

The food was great, the location is good. However, we have the same problem with others about the limitation of time. They will politely pushing us to leave the table since 70 mins (90 mins allowed for all-you-can-eat plan of ¥3,480). Please get this improved then this restaurant will be perfect!

We booked table for 5 at 9pm and we arrived on time. But we got out table suit 4 ppl only. Is ok if we are slim, but actually we are not. Anyway, we order all you can eat menu, which is about 5000yen per head for 90mins, food are coming slow and some of them frozen like rock. We got told about 7...0mins later that we are on last call and we have to leave 20mins later, at that time we still have lots of uncook food and we only half full . 20mins later, staff comeover and said if we stay, they will charge 500yen per head for 30mins. we told them we are not order anymore food but we just wanted to finish our food on the table. They are not allow unless we pay extra 500yen. then we decide to leave the restaurant, and we asked for dessert, they said your time is over,no dessert can serve to u. WHAT THE FXXKING RESTAURANT is that in Japan!!! I wont recommed anyone to go them, they are sucks!
