Manchinrou

We visited the two most popular Cantonese restaurants in the same day; one for lunch and Manchinro for dinner. Manchinro was decidedly not as good, but stands on its own as a very good Chinese restaurant. The dining room is ornate and we enjoyed the live music during our dinner. The service was pr...ofessional, but felt quite cold at times. The menu is diverse (and in English!), but their dim sum offerings are less comprehensive than other restaurants in the immediate area. And, yes, this restaurant is expensive, you’ll probably pay at least $75/person (with drinks), but it’s a high end Cantonese restaurant; not to be mistaken for anything else.

Established over 100 years this very traditional Cantonese restaurant provides excellent service and a wide range of well cooked dishes .I would recommend the set lunch courses, they offer value for money compared with the more expensive evening offerings .

Had a preset menu for 15 people and it was so bad I wouldn’t give the food to my dog. Service was okay but can’t believe I spent US$2,000 for dog food.

From the moment we walked through the doors, the service, ambience and smells had us spellbound. The greeter seated us immediately, despite having no reservation and offered us English menus. There was quite a selection, but we opted for dim sum and a ramen bowl. The noodles were freshly made and ab...solutely delicious. The dim sum was very tasty, especially the barbecued pork and I would also recommend the nikuman. The service was amazing and wait staff very responsive.

Don't come! Not good food and very expensive! Horrible service that could not be more unfriendly. Everything was really bellow excepted level. Probably good place from a former period, but now became unrecommandable.
