“Excellent sushi”
Small "Japanese only" sushi restaurant. Generous servings of very fresh sushi, accompanied by home-made pickled ginger (fresh and strong!) and wasabi. Tea cups get automatic refills. Very little English spoken, and the menu is only in Japanese; they have a chart with a million varieties of fish and ...seafood with English translations if you want to order 'á la carte'. Waiters and chefs are very kind and polite - if initially a bit suspicious of a lone gaijin at the door. Speaking of which: it's really small, so if there are more than one or two people, probably worth booking. Price is mid-range for sushi in Tokyo, but good value for what you get.

“Best Sushi Ever”
Clearly my number 1 favorite ... best sushi I have ever eaten in great plain atmosphere ... just loved it! Super fresh, friendly staff (no word of english apart from tea, water, sushi though ;-). A must try.

“One of the best sushi even though i dont eat raw fish”
So if this place can convert a non-eating raw fish person, it is probably that good. The only raw fish that I have ever tasted is salmon. But today, I had tuna, eel, octopus, flat fish and all kinds of other fishes that I dont know. And it tasted amazing! My local eating buddy called it the umami ta...ste. If you are looking for a casual but excellent sushi eating house, with 100 years of heritage. This is the place. Only caveat, English is limited. But absolutely worth the visit.

“Approved ”
We came here because we want to taste the sushi. It was very good but also worse than many other we try during our trip in Japan. The staff does not speak English but we were able to communicate without problems. Approved!

“Fantastic, authentic sushi without a huge price tag.”
This place has fantastic sushi. Some of the best i've ever had and without the $300 price tag of some of the Michelin star sushi places i've been too. The atmosphere is much more casual and less fancy than some of the "top" sushi places in Tokyo, but the sushi is just as good. Go during lunch and it...s even cheaper and yet the quality is still the same (AKA top notch)
