“Closes early”
Wouldn’t seat me even though I arrived an hour before closing. Wasted a lot of time coming here. The host wouldn’t even explain why.

“Delicious intimate experience.”
Super delicate meat and excellent flavor. There may be a bit of a wait, 20-30 minutes. Very worth it. The pork katsu was exceptional.

“nice”
Come and give it a try with anticipation, and indeed there has been a long queue. I ordered a serving of prawns 🍤 Pork chop set meal and a 160g pork chop set meal, rice, miso soup, cabbage can be unlimited. The Jinhua dolphin from Pingtian Ranch used in this store has delicate meat, but the juice is... not as rich as expected. Besides, the dolphin juice at this restaurant is so delicious that I couldn't resist having another bowl after eating I translated the Chinese menu of this restaurant for friends in need

“Excellent tonkatsu”
Katsukura’s special pork loin on the day I had it, was a great cut above the rest. The fat was well spread out, and was also meaty. I would describe it as the best tonkatsu I have had so far.

“Perfect for both long-time Tonkatsu "afecionados" and more adventurous goers”
I used to come to Takashimaya for Tonkatsu often when I was a child. Having come back to Tokyo after long years, I wanted to share some of my childhood memories with my girlfriend. Her being vegetarian somewhat tempered my hopes of getting to eat Tonkatsu, so I was pleasantly surprised with Katsukur...a's vegetable-yuba croquette and filet menu: I took both of our filets, she took both of our croquettes, and we left the restaurant full and happy. Overall a good experience, with many different choices of meal. Some connoisseurs might bemoan the somewhat limited selection of different porcs but, personally, I would rather have a couple good choices of rosu and a couple good choices of fillet than a dozen, average, imported cuts. Katsukura definitely delivers on the latter. Besides the vegetarian-friendly (almost an oxymoron for a Tonkatsu restaurant) croquette I have already mentioned, the menu also offered a series of other croquette and fried fish sides which seemed very interesting. Perhaps there were only two pig stocks, but it did not lack for overall variety. Onto the main affair: much as I love the feel of a dirty little Tonkatsu store in some office-building's basement, this is a different type of store. And it does not stop at the decor. The breading was crisp, the meat soft and perfectly cooked, the rice had a little something extra in it that I still cannot place, the miso soup's vegetables were fresh and sweet. And as for the deserts, once again the limited choice was more than compensated for by their taste. I specifically recommend the chocolate terrine. Will definitely come by again!
