“Amazing Tempura”
On the 14/F of Takashimaya, one of the best Tempura restaurant you will find. A tradition of over 120 years, lightly battered shrimp, fish, eel and veggies. Perfectly friend and freshness of the veggie and seafood made my day. We ordered different sets and I ordered a sampler of 12, turns out ever...ything is cut into bite size and can feed 2 person. Super yum and no line. The original one is always crowded on busy street.

“Excellent tempura”
Interesting menu card in English with different types of tempura. Service was friendly and fast, all waiters spoke English. We had assorted seafood and vegetables. It was really delicious, portion size was appropriate.

“Tempura with style”
Excellent tempura and a great spot for lunch. A lot of places here do lunch specials and this is no exception. My tempura vegetables (six kinds) on rice came with side dishes and miso soup, which had baby clams in it. Very filling and the service excellent. Good looking place. Bill for four people i...ncluding drinks came under $100.

“Very good”
They have been in business for 120 years. Tempura is one of my favorite Japanese meal. They serve "Edo Mae" ( means Tokyo style) tempura. If you are not sure what to have, try " Kakiage Don". You are not going to regret. $$$
“Amazing dining experience!”
My partner and I was at Takashimaya and wanted a good tempura lunch. We were indeed glad to have found one that's really great on all counts. What seems like a fine dining tempura restaurant has one of the best service we've received in Tokyo. The service staff were patient and attentive at all ti...mes, filling up our tea cups whenever they were half emptied. Seeing that we are not Japanese, they took pain to explain to us the different types of salt for the tempura, and how to go about enjoying a great meal. Food wise, it's simple tempura excellently done! Every piece is well fried and it's like eating crispy prawn crackers. The service staff encouraged us to ask for a refill of rice and soup, which I know it's not uncommon. What I was most amazed was their generosity when they refilled our asari (clam) soup -- they gave us a bowl of soup with a fresh serving of clams in the soup! Price wise, I would say it's very reasonably priced given the food and service quality. Must try!
