“Garden View in busy Shinjuku”
This is my second visit and it did not fail to please. On the 13th level of the Takashimiya Tower in Shinjuku, it surprises patrons who are not aware of this sky high green space of garden and short walking area outdoors high up above the busy streets. My Japanese friend and I had a delightful lunch... from the set menu. I had mackerel with pasta and she had smoked salmon with pasta. This course came after a really tasty salad in a glass. Very healthy grains indeed. The pumpkin dessert was small but delicious. Wonderful place for our chance to chat and relax.

“Nice dinner on rooftop”
It's one of the guarantee choice when you want to try fusion/western food in Tokyo. Chef Hide Yamamoto is well known for his michelin star restaurants so there was not a single doubt in our mind (me and friends) when we decide to try his newly-open restaurant in Shinjuku. All dishes are delicious, a...nd the desserts are heaven! A nice break from all the sushi, ramen, soba we've been exposed to in Tokyo.

“Revisiting a delightful place”
The restaurant was much like it was since my first visit. The food is based on Italian cooking with three types of pasta available for the lunch set of 1500 yen. A green salad and bread comes first and that is standard. The clam with linguini was quite nice with no strong taste to mar it. The tomato... and cheese spaghetti was tastier. As a place for lunch it won't offend anyone with any strong flavours. The outdoor garden area is much appreciated.

“Pleaaent”
As a visitor in a country where I don't know the language, I really appreciate a menu with pictures. It's a bonus when the menu is also in English! That's why we are at Sesto Sesto. They have an outdoor seating area that is very pretty. Everything on the menu looked very very yummy. The service was ...a bit slow, but we were having a nice time so didn't notice too much. I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for Italian. It's the best Italian in Takashimaya (my opinion) !
