Called here tonight as was loving the thought of crispy duck.... bad idea We ended up with duck skin costing £35!!! It was slimy and not what we ordered and when challenged was told that duck meat sold out!! Really poor!!! And was really disappointed Be careful what you order

Yokohama "Chukagai" can be tricky for those who are not quite familliar with the area. There are just too many restaurants with their annex buildings and branches that it is actually rare that someone knows his way in this jungle of neon lights, bright colors and smell of deep-fried stuff. I am no ...exception, so we just entered this place hoping that the taste would be OK. As it was still a bit early for dinner, all but one seats were empty. Ooops...not a good sign? The place however was packed after minutes. We had mostly classics like "Peking duck", dumplings and other dishes. The taste was certainly not extraordinary, but nevertheless good and balanced. Service was prompt and professional. I probably won't be able to find it the next time and there are surely many other goods restaurants in the area, but this is certainly one of them. The interiors are classic Chinese restaurant style, so in my personal view this is a good place for families or friends, but maybe neither for a date or a business dinner.
