Kushiyaki BISTRO Fukumimi Shibuya

The place is a hidden gem, literally hidden; was difficult to find. Very cosy atmosphere with friendly staff. Tasty delicious food. Meat and chicken skewers are a must try, the mackerel fish is also excellent. Price is spot on for this quality and experience

I really liked this small and charming restaurant. A great atmosphere and very nice food. An easy place to be a tourist. Remember to take part in the cheers rituals.

Amazing food! We are a family of 6 (4 kids ages 15,13,9,6). We got there right at opening time to secure a table. No problems! Location is hard to find, definitely felt like a hole in the wall— literally down a flight of narrow stairs into an underground lair! lol but our kids loved that! Food was... delicious plenty of skewer options. We underestimated how hungry we were and had to order twice! lol but it was wonderful!

I have to shout out to the Trip Advisor community for this one - it was a winner! One of the better meals I had in Tokyo and a lovely experience to boot. It wasn’t very busy when I arrived so I was shown to a seat at the bar. The menu was in English which always makes it a bit easier! I ordered so...me edamame to start, karaage and an iced jasmine tea. Everything was fresh and tasty - and very reasonably priced. As with many places there was a 300¥ mandatory charge that came with an entree (a cabbage dish which was surprisingly yum). The only down side was that the restaurant allows smoking and there was one person puffing away on a cigarette when I sat down. Thankfully they left soon after but it was very unpleasant and I don’t know if I would have stayed to eat my meal with that foul stench in the air…

This little restaurant was the best place we visited in Tokyo. Super friendly staff that speak English. They can do vegetarian options. Amazing food and great atmosphere, a hidden local gem
