Minokichi is widely known as the oldest and the most prestigious restaurant in Kyoto. Our history goes back to 1716 and we began as a tea house set along the banks of River Sanjo in Kyoto.
We later became a restaurant serving freshwater fish and have been in business for nearly 290 years. We hope you'll enjoy our Kyoto cuisine that is backed by our history and on-going innovation.
