Tsukijisushiiwa Sohonten

The best Sashimi and Sushi’s restaurant I have ever been in my life. Fish and vegetables are just perfect, and the cooks are preparing the meal in front of you with a smile. I recommend fully this restaurant.

first time in a restaurant of this type. the staff is infinitely friendly and patient. the dishes are fantastic, I have never eaten sushi like this. fair price for the quality of the food and service, which are excellent. we come from a different culture and since we don't know customs and tradi...tions we risk appearing like barbarians... but here it was enough to ask for help and they immediately worked to help us avoid making unnecessary mistakes and explained everything we wanted to know about food and best way to eat it. it's not just eating sushi but it's a beautiful, positive experience that shouldn't be missed if you want to get to know Tokyo.

Asked my hotel concierge for good Sushi Sashimi place. They tried to recommend good places that are part of a chain and serve good sushi at a cheap price. Wanted something better and got the name of Sushi Iwa. This is a small Sushi bar. The place is clean and elegant. Service is perfect. I got the ...full attention of the chef and received a very good Sashimi combination followed by a perfect plate of Sushi. The fish where very fresh and tasty and the presentation was impressive. I highly recommend this place.

Went there accidentally as we meant to go to the other sushi Iwa. $170 for two, not worth it. Definitely authentic Japanese cuisine, as the locals seemed to enjoy it.
