“Does a pretty good job with an odd concept”

This place is supposed to be Japanese/Italian fusion. They deliver a very refined experience. There is clearly expertise in the kitchen, from which beautiful arrangements and good flavours emerged. The setting is more traditional Japanese. To me, though, the concept was conceptually confused, and th...e presentation and food, amidst it all, pretty conventional. Everything was solid, but there was nothing in any course that wowed me. Well done, but just a little too civilized.
