Amazing sushi in Shinjuku! I came here with friends and had such a lovely dining experience. The vibe was super chill, and the staff were really friendly, which made the whole place feel comfortable right away. I had a sushi course meal and left completely full and happy. The first dish, a chawanmus...hi, was softer than pudding, topped with crab meat, and incredibly creamy and delicious. Tempura was also included. Each dish that was served to us came out quick, fresh, delicious, and vibrant. Service was impeccable. Highly recommended!

Amazing sushi in Shinjuku! I came here with friends and had such a lovely dining experience. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and thoughtfully designed , calm enough to relax but lively enough to enjoy with a group. I really liked their selection of Hokkaido sake, and it was paired beautifully with... the dishes. The food itself was delicious, well-presented, and portioned just right ! Pricing felt fair and reasonable for the quality and location. I definitely recommend it to anyone craving good sushi in shinjuku!

I had a sushi course meal and left completely full and happy. The first dish, a chawanmushi, was softer than pudding, topped with crab meat, and incredibly creamy and delicious. Since it was a sushi course, I got to enjoy seven pieces of sushi plus a hosomaki roll—super satisfying. The highlight was... definitely the seared medium-fatty tuna. It was beautifully fragrant and paired perfectly with alcohol. Tempura was also included, and the asparagus tempura was crispy and amazing. I normally don’t drink sweet cocktails, but my friend’s melon sour looked so good that I want to try it next time. For me, the corn tea shochu was a huge hit—honestly the best corn tea mix I’ve ever had. It had a clean finish with a natural sweetness. Highly recommended! Since the meal is served slowly as a course, you can enjoy your drinks and take your time. I left totally full and very satisfied. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere, and the staff’s explanations are polite and thoughtful.

I had an awesome dinner at Hokkaisushi & Tempura Sushiyama in Shinjuku. The vibe was super chill, and the staff were really friendly, which made the whole place feel comfortable right away. I got the Unkai Course and honestly everything was on point. The sushi was really fresh and clean tasting, and... the tempura was super light and crispy without feeling heavy.

Just a few minutes away from Shinjuku station lies this super tasty restaurant! Had the Unkai course for dinner with some friends and we had the best time ever. Each dish that was served to us came out quick, fresh, delicious, and vibrant. Service was impeccable and the set meal is definitely worth ...it if you're looking for some authentic sushi experience in Tokyo. The atmosphere was also lovely so will definitely be coming back again soon!
