A very disappointing experience at this place today. We arrived at 8pm and the first waiter told us that they may not be able to get us a table b4 the last order which he said was 0830. Nevertheless we waited until 0830 when a second waiter came and told us they were fully booked and could not accom...modate us. Assuming that it was due to the last order timing, we got up to leave then realised that the other patrons were still waiting in the queue. Hanging around to observe, we realised that they were allowing the customers who were in queue behind us to enter the restaurant. I had to clarify why this was happening when last order time had supposedly passed and they were letting others waiting behind us in. When asked why he was letting others in, the waiter unwilling said that we could have a table which he pointed to. So they had an available table? When pressed on why he said the last order time was 830pm, he then said it was 855pm. He then said he turned us away cos there was no available table for 4. Which was not true as there the table was available. All I can conclude from this experience is that restaurant is unwilling to serve foreigners / tourists as all the customers waiting behind us were communicating to the waiters in Japanese. And they did their very best to turn us away discreetly using one excuse after another. In the end we ended up at Macdonald's at Tokyo station which had significantly better service to this non-existent one.

Located at 12F of the Daimaru Departmental Store Tokyo Station. Convenient for shopper and reasonable price set lunch in Tokyo area. Nothing spectacular.

Ok this restaurant... I seriously think they are one of the restaurant with the worst ever service in Japan. I used to think China has the worst service but this restaurant changed my mind. The food was bad. Even the so called japanese gyu with foie gras was bad. It doesn’t even taste anything lik...e Japanese beef. It felt like my local cheap ass Indonesian beef. I think a 500 yen beef taste better than their so called foie gras 6000 yen beef. It’s a total rip off. You are better off eating yoshinoya...

My husband and I have frequented this restaurant for many years, sometimes twice in the same visit! There is an English menu, the beer is cold and the food is great. Try to sit at the counter so you can enjoy the experience. Everything we have ordered has been great. The food is cooked as you li...ke it, and it is fantastic - you will not regret dining here!

Missed out on our chosen restaurant as eating late (2.30pm) & decided against the recommended ramen in Tokyo station as looking for something lighter. This restaurant fitted the bill for lighter options serving both a ladies set menu & a rice & tuna option. The portions while right for us far from ...generous for those looking for more from a Y2000 ph meal. More relevant was the food that was ordinary in comparison to any of the other meals eaten in Tokyo/Kyoto over 10 days. Service was polite & efficient hence an overall rating of average (my partner rated her food rating as poor). This differs from other reviewers & maybe the difference between lunch & dinner & not going for the teppanyaki.
