“Tourists not wanted”
This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. Unfortunately we did not check reviews as all other dining experiences during our 3 weeks in Japan have been very good to excellent. The food was adequate. The service was horrible. It was very apparent that they do not want tourists. The server kept sh...oving ordered dishes on the table with no regard to pacing the meal or the lack of space. Once the food was put on our table we were ignored. Finished dishes were not removed leaving little room. The last straw was the gatekeeper cashier who scowled at us. There are so many wonderful places to eat where they make you feel welcome. Avoid this place if you are a tourist.
