“Great experience”
It is usually quite busy so I had to wait that 20 minutes before entering. There are all kinds of meat (even horse) and quite a few smoked ones. The recommended ones are also fish. The place is cozy, but you can enjoy your food without problems. The attention is very good and while you wait sittin...g down, you can watch the chefs cooking and throwing some flames from the grill. I ordered a Hachikin Chicken (I think that's the translation) with a beer and for dessert an ice cream :ice_cream: (very good presentation). The prices are intermediate, it's worth the visit.

“Great izakaya with open fire”
Although it's more like izakaya due to grilled meat and fish, in fact it's a great restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. They specialize in bonito fish grilled over open fire + have many others meat / fish dishes; also nice choose of sake. Best place I've been in Tokyo so far.

“Stand back from the grill!”
We asked our guide in advance to find us a locals spot for dinner. This was the place! The grilled Benito, chicken and asparagus plates were great. And the sake was just as good but watching the experienced cook do his thing was the highlight.

“Theatre of the grass flame Izakaya”
This is a great Izakaya in the backstreets of Roppongi. Haven’t been here for a couple of years and it is still great. Went with friends visiting for the RWC and they all loved it. Great atmosphere with the big grass fire in the middle of the kitchen to add theatre to the dinner. Beautiful bonito sl...ightly seared on the fire, delicious tongue, shrimps, chicken and asparagus. Service was attentive. About ¥5,000 each including plenty of beers and wine. We need to come back again soon.

“Incredible atmosphere, delicious food”
This place blew my mind! The restaurant is small, make sure to book in advance even if you are two people. There is a huge show-cooking kitchen, the chef is burning all sorts of hay and branches to make this aromafull fire, and cooks the meat and som food on it. Its really fun to watch, so if you ar...e not afraid, sit by the bar. The food is incredible and very fresh. Service is fast and very friendly. Loved it, will return!
