“Avoid this place at all costs.”

You really need to avoid this place. The food is substandard and the quality of ingredients is like plastic. The ramen is made from 2 minute noodles and the seared tuna was tasteless. We were recommended by the concierge at the Hilton. We have spoken with them about removing them from the list of ...restaurants. Tokyo has many great restaurants- that we would brecommend but I this second rate clip joint is unthinkable. The servers were nice and pleasant but the food was dreadful.

“Worst Experience”

Honestly, I never write reviews on restaurants, but something is clearly wrong when you read great reviews and show up expecting a romantic evening and have the worst restaurant experience you can remember. I would recommend skipping this place considering how incredible most of the other food is in... Tokyo. The views are incredible--the only positive. The food and service were atrocious. We ordered the recommended tofu and roe appetizer, sake, and two entrees. My fiancé got his entree immediately (before the appetizer). The beef tongue was extremely chewy and lacking any flavor. About 15 minutes later, we received the sake and the appetizer. The tofu had a runny, weird texture and the roe was extremely fishy. After another 30 minutes, my fiancé had finished his meal and I still hadn't received my entree (sashimi bowl and red miso) and our waitress never returned to check on us. We finally had to leave the table to ask someone else about the food. They realized the food was never placed and told us they would take care of it immediately. After another 10 minutes, someone came back over, apologized again, and told us they forgot what we had ordered. Finally, after an hour of being at the restaurant, I received my food. I immediately noticed that the waitress forgot a spoon for the miso (it was a large bowl and not the small drinkable container seen in many Japanese restaurants). The sashimi was extremely fishy as well and the rice had a strange, musty flavor. We tried for another length of time to flag someone down for a spoon and the check. Our waitress never returned, but we were able to find someone else on the floor. By the time I received the spoon, a few bites of cold, extremely sub-par miso were enough to call it one of the worst experiences we can remember having. I was so excited when I read someone characterize this place as one of "the most romantic restaurants" in Tokyo, but at the end of the night, it was an expensive, terrible experience.

“Stunning views and great drink menu”

At the 50th floor above the Nomura building in Shinjuku diners are guaranteed a starry view of the Tokyo skyline. The food is presented nicely snd the drink all you can menu for 2 hours at JPY2,000 is a steal. We enjoyed the occasion.

“Warning to all travellers”

Don't fall for any of their advertisement. They will charge you for things you din't order, and be ready to be ripped off. In addition to that, the food was burned and horrible. We were frustrated and had the intention to call the police but decided against it once they adjusted our bill. All and al...l, make sure you search a restaurant before you put a morsel in your mouth.
