The restaurant advertises it has various set meal options— including “all you can eat”. It does not. And so you end up spending more for less. The meat was good, but the portions small. The ambience was grimy.

I have only been here for lunch while visiting our company office in Meguro, but it was fantastic. The high end of lunch is around 1350 yen, so quite reasonable for the high quality meat you get, and it grills up fairly quickly at the table so you don't have to worry about it taking a while either. ... But one of the main reasons I love this place is the woman who runs it. She's a bit more abrupt than your regular Japenese dining experience, but it feels very homey. She's kind of like your auntie or grandma who is no nonsense but takes great care of you. She's just completely amazing! The place feels very homey as well, and it has a lot of her personality. You'll see old family photos, a book case, and other personal touches throughout. As I also mentioned, the food is great, especially if you're with a couple friends since it sort of forces you to slow down and talk and enjoy the experience while you cook your meat on the table in front of you. I highly recommend this place, and wish I could go back more often!
