I d not know about lunch or dinner here but the breakfast was very good with a wide selection of choices. Nice and bright as it has large windows.

“Great Japanese restaurant especially for lunch”

Very good Japanese restaurant, great service, the lunch menu is not expensive and the quality is very good. They even offer a fresh egg to put on the rice and a small bottle of Evian. I recommend this restaurant.

“Great breakfast buffet”

Reviewed 20/Oct/2019

Not all hotel breakfast buffets are created equal, and this restaurant definitely offers one of the better ones that I've had. They offered both Japanese and Western dishes; I prefer Western while my travel companion prefers Japanese. We both left really happy with what we had. My only complaint wou...ld be that the coffee is weaker than I would prefer, but that's it. Side note - I didn't try this restaurant for other meals, but my companion had dinner here and spoke very well about the yakitori also.

“Over-priced and small portions”

Reviewed 20/Oct/2019

This was a great disappointment. You are charged a cover charge as well as a service charge. The portions are obscenely small and over-priced. My husband’s charcoal chicken was black and tasted of burnt oil. It was uneatable. When we complained and asked that the chicken be taken off our bill, the w...ait staff resisted. It wasn’t until we asked to speak with the manager and the chicken dish was finally removed from our bill. Two cocktails, a small bottle of water and 4 tiny skewers of chicken and vegetables cost over 5,000 yen. With all the restos in the area, I would avoid this establishment.

“A hidden Japanese restaurant ”

Reviewed 19/Jan/2019

On the ground floor of the JR Kyushu Hotel, it is open to everyone, a Japanese authentic restaurant is located. We ordered a “Ichikawa Ebizo’s room lunch” where a lots of variety of small dishes with miso soup and steamed white rice with or without wheat. You can bring a pet bottle of Evian for free... and when you are finished and going out you can pour hot coffee into a paper cup with a lid for take out only. It was 1600 JPY and is worth it.
