“Two hour was a little too short”
We had a very nice meeting on that date, and as such, everyone was happy and ready to enjoy nice dinner and drinks. Antipasto, assorted meats, pizza and pastas were so good, and wines as well. Two hours have just been quick, and unluckily we were strongly requested to be punctual in terms of when to... leave. It was what it was, they are popular. That was good for them; but taking reservations without any room between reservations may be little aggressive. Don’t get me wrong. They are obviously a nice Italian restaurant, very conveniently located.

“Excellent Italian food”
I've been to this restaurant several times during my trips to Tokyo. I was there last month as well, while on a business trip. The choice is rather limited, but what is there is really good. I ordered a combination of tomato and Mozzarella cheese starters and a margarita pizza as main course, along ...with ice lemon tea. the food quality and quantity was excellent. the place can get crowded, so make sure you give yourself some time to wait if need be. This restaurant is on the fifth floor of the Marunouchi Building.

“Food is good but pricey”
The ambience was excellent and if u get a window seat, you will get a nice view of the old tokyo station. The food was pretty decent - pasta was good, wine was excellent and they serve a mean tiramisu. But not without burning a hole in the pocket tho.
“Good location and prices”
I went to Isola Smeralda for lunch. It's conveniently located in the Marunouchi Building, which is a good location close to several train lines. The food is very tasty and not too expensive for lunch. A lunch set costs ¥1500 per person, and it comes with a salad, pizza or pasta, desert and a drink. ...I would recommend it for anyone,

“no bread”
I was enjoying a pleasant meal at isola smeralda until I asked for more bread to go with the paltry portion on the cheese plate (4 biscuit sized wafers for two people). Despite complaining, I was told that I would need to pay more. Most Italian restaurants that I have been to in Tokyo will give me ...as much bread as I like. Considering I was about to pay 20,000 for two people, I was surprised that they attempted to squeeze a few hundred yen more out of me. The management clearly has no business sense or respect for their customers.
