“Nice treat to great beef ”
Treated by local friends to the best sukiyaki and shabu shabu beef restaurant for lunch today. Good service and food was prepared and served by staff. Must return for more

“Got scolded by the staff for taking photos”
Quality of the food was good but service was bad. I didn’t have a reservation and I asked for a window seat but I was told it was not available. A Japanese couple, who also had no reservation, entered after us and requested for a window seat. Lo and behold, there was a window seat available for them...! I didn’t know that you are not supposed to go near the window when there are diners there. I went near and the older waitress immediately snapped at me to ‘STOP’ in English. She even glared at me like as if I’ve committed a heinous crime. I’ve taken photos from the window many times even with diners present at other restaurants. Even if it’s their rule to disallow diners to do so, the lady should’ve told me nicely and not glare and shout at me. Japanese quality service? Yea, only if you are Japanese.

“OMG what a find. Superb Sukiyaki & service. 35th floor Marunouchi Building opposite Tokyo Station .”
Restaurant with big windows & superb food. We chose Sukiyaki & it is delivered in a set course. (Common in Japane) That being entre , main & desert with green tea. We also had a bottle of NZ wine which was very reasonably priced considering we were in Tokyo. Also served was a steak meal, Shaba Shaba... (wagu cooked in a broth at table with vegetables) ,& other beef meals. ONLY beef here. BUT it was superb. Melted in your mouth. They have laminated sheets with photos of each course with what each dish is in English so you know what delicacy you are savouring. It sits next to you .GREAT idea for those wanting to understand the different side dishes. They speak English enough so it was easy. Kimono clad waitresses cook the sukiyaki in front of you at the table. Egg(raw) is offered to dip meat & veg in & MUST be tried. It is traditional, may not appeal to westerners at 1st thought BUT Makes all the difference to the flavour. OMG it was SOOOOOO GOOD! So much so we booked for the next night to try their Shaba Shaba Wagu cooked in a broth with veg. Again a set meal with all courses covered for the price. Do it if you like sukiyaki or beef any way. AMAZING.

“Excellent sukiyaki ”
Excellent sukiyaki and great service. Sukiyaki is prepared for you with fresh and high quality ingredient and right in front of you. The combination of meat, egg, and vegetables is just fantastic as is the small appetizer served before dinner. The restaurant is located on one of the top floor of thi...s skyscraper so you have a great view on the city as well.

We were searching for a traditional Sukiyaki place via google maps when we saw this highly-rated restaurant was less than a kilometer away from us. The restaurant is on the 35th floor with sweeping views of Tokyo and the Imperial Palace and is fairly modern looking. We were there for a late lunch ...and it was still full of patrons. The Sukiyaki lunch set was heavenly (that first piece of meat dipped in egg just melts in your mouth) and all the accompanying vegetables were very also excellent. There were 4 in the group, so 2 of us decided to try out their steak lunch sets. Everything from the starters to the palette cleansing dessert was just right. Would definitely recommend.
