My Girlfriend is a seasoned travelled in Asia , she invited me go fishing ? I said to her Fishing at 6 pm ? what a joker , I find out later It is one of the novel themed restaurant inside the Washington hotel on low floor , their concert is " Fish You Own Dinner " spacious and the dinning... area is like a big boat surrounded by a moat , not a romantic spot for dinner but very noisy bussing with kids happy laughed , the place is packed , reservation must , the idea is you go fishing in the moat and try to catch your fish and the staff will cooked it for you and any style you like , I was lucky with no time , I caught a big fat Red Snapper , we choose the best way is Sashimi , so fresh just melt in my mouth , my girlfriend choose few dishes from the menu like the deep fried octopus , Assorted Tempura , also the Shrimp Chigin , lot of food excellent quality , in Japan there is two seafood must try is the Red Tuna and Octopus just out of these world , little pricy but it is novelty , very unique experienced, we both enjoyed it , so if you planning visit Shinjuku with the kids , for sure ,kid will love you for ever , Yoi tabemono to nomimono

Visited with a group after having an amazing experience here in 2015. Unfortunately this time we were met with staff who were inattentive, and a cashier who literally stood there and ignored us for over a minute whilst we were at the counter and she was standing across from us and clearly saw us. It... was ridiculously expensive and the food was hands down the worst we ate in Japan. Whilst the fishing part is somewhat fun, the food was borderline inedible with chicken bordering on pink in addition to poorly prepared sashimi complete with bones. No problem paying the price if it was good, but this was terrible and even at half the price paid I’d be disappointed. Unless they change things dramatically I’d never return which is a real shame as in 2015 the service, food and experience for us was amazing.

Poor service, disappointed experience. 1. Stood for more than 10 minutes, kept telling to wait. 2. A waitress came to us and asked if we had reservations. 3. Told us no table available as no bookings. 4. I reflected that we were told to wait by other waiter/waitress to wait and we wanted the fish...ing. 5. Then that young lady led us to a empty room with couples of tables available. 6. No one came to serve after we caught the fish. 7. No one cared about our food, I had to get my unattended dish which placed on a countertop outside the room. 8. Cooking food was poor. Conclusion: will not recommend my friends/family to this restaurant.

We ended up here because we couldn't get reservations anywhere else. My kids loved the experience. We caught 2 shrimp, a sea bream, and a flounder. We also ordered other dishes and drinks. It came out to $91 USD which I thought was very reasonable for 4 people worth of food and drinks + the experien...ce. The service was great, they were very attentive and very clear on how to catch fish, methods of cooking, and cost. If you are confused and have questions, ask. I was a little nervous after reading reviews on here and Google but we had a very pleasant experience. I don't usually review restaurants often but I wanted to share our experience in case others are on the fence about trying this restaurant.

Their advertisement brought us here but yet disappoint us. Please look carefully at the fish that you catch and not get cheated. We got the 60$ menu per pax, but the variety of food was mehhh…. Please think wisely before you want to come this restaurant.
