“Amazing experience I recommend it to everyone”
It was an amazing experience for me and my family. We really enjoyed fishing our own meal, and the staff made everything easy and fun. The food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere unique. I recommend it to everyone who wants to have a very fun and tasteful experience.

“The place to go at Shibuya”
Excellent moment in this restaurant of fishes. They are fresh and tasty. You can catch your fish for fun if you want. Very funny in family or with friends. And manager Kimiko is so welcoming and charming.

“Dirty, bug ridden place, rotten fish”
My youngest son had seen this place on YouTube so we made it a priority to try out. It was the worst experience and meal of our entire stay in Japan. We walked in and the whole place smelled fishy and the floors were filthy. We went ahead and tried it and my kids caught 3 fish and a lobster. The... last fish was huge and flipped around so much that it was dropped on the floor and one of the waiters kicked it, which should have been our cue to leave then. We had the first two prepared as sashimi and tempura. You would think a fresh caught fish would taste fresh, right? Nope! It tasted like it had died a week ago and just sat on a counter. The sashimi was chewy and the tempura tasted rotten. I honestly wonder if we even ate the fish that we caught or it was some frozen old fish because it just didn’t make any sense. The last fish was delivered and a beautiful little bug fell off the plate and onto the table and my son had to smash it. At this point, we were all just trying to stick it out, but we should have just cut our losses. The lobster finally came and yep, tasted rotten as well. We left most of the food on the table, paid our outrageous bill and ate at 7-11 that night. Although the boys enjoyed fishing, this was a sad disgusting dinner that we totally regret. Hopefully this helps someone else avoid our expensive mistake.

“This place sucks.”
First of all this place is in a basement and may be the dirtiest place I have seen so far in all of Japan. Upon walking in o was greeted with the heavy aroma of frying fish. My clothes still smell like it, I had to throw them out. Our waiter, or whatever his job was, Neil, greeted us by asking in a... turdlike tone if we had a reservation. We said yes, and I will regret saying that for the rest of my life. He dropped us off at a booth surrounded by dirty plexiglass and the table felt like it was covered in grease. He gave us one menu to share and a drink menu that looked like it been run through a dirty garbage can ten times. Then he disappeared. Didn’t ask us for drinks or anything. Finally I tracked him down and ask for drinks. He unhappily poured out 5 glasses of water and then disappeared again. Did he not want to ask us if we wanted other beverages? I guess not. We had to hunt him down again and he unhappily brought us beverages. My sense of dread was growing due to not only the smell but the sight of other tables processed food, plus the view into the kitchen where I could see an old “chef” delightfully throwing around slabs of nasty looking fish. So. They give you a fishing rod, which they hysterically charge you 100 yen to rent, and they direct you to these pools of questionable looking fish. You don’t fish - you literally just have to stab the poor things with a hook. After the glorious celebration of catching a carp or whatever they were telling us was edible, they then processed the food and dumped it off over time. It was disgusting. Plain and simple. Nothing like some fish caught out of a pond cut up and put on a plate that no one could palate, in fact my wife spit it out and my youngest as well. Both are very seasoned sushi eaters. Having not seen our friend Neil in some time I finally had enough and had my oldest son track him down for the ticket so we could escape this hellhole. After exiting the seventh layer of hell I vomited - and I hadn’t eaten a single thing. Stay away people.
