“Excellent lunch ”
Never set a foot until my colleague brought me here. The entrance for this Japanese restaurant looks expensive and I thought it could cost me a fortune, however, it was quite reasonable and they offered great grilled fish for lunch. Having the dish together with radish is such a great experience.... Inside is crowded but it’s turning around quick to get a seat.

“Fine Japanese Cuisine”
We had a beautiful meal here. They helped with recommendations and with the beautiful sake. The food was awesome, the sake and plum wine were brilliant and the service exceptional. Highly commended. We went back for a drink the following night. The decor and lighting was outstanding. A real experien...ce.

“The worst sushi we ever had”
It's extremely bad. Tuna sushi is not eatable at all :( other sushi were so bad. Never again. Can't believe it happens in Tokyo..

“Old Fashioned Izakaya”
Step back in time and enjoy the spirit of Japan. A wonderful Japanese style restaurant with several different seating options, from counter at bar, to Japanese kotatsu seating w/ tatami, to private back rooms. Service is great, and if you are lucky to be there when Manager Kimbara-san is working, yo...u will be assured a wonderful evening (although all the staff are great, as well as Oyama-san). Menu is very difficult to navigate (I think an English version is available), so the best way to enjoy this place is to ask the staff for recommendations. Go in with an open mind and trust the staff. At one point they used to have kujira bacon, which is a great way to try whale meat. The sake and schochu menu is expansive, so make sure to sample many, again the staff will help you with suggestions. Don't be an "ugly gaijin", so in with an open mind.

“Izakaya made easy”
We went here with our kids, attracted by the distinctive doorway. The atmosphere is lovely, traditional but comfortable. The staff were very gracious. There is an English menu, but it appears to have far fewer choices than the Japanese menu. We ordered a selection of things to share. Particular...ly good was the grilled tuna collar. It was an unintimidating way to introduce my kids to a great form of Japanese cuisine. It is a bit pricy though.
