“All you can eat (if they let you)”

My family and I came to here for all you can eat wagyu beef BBQ, you have to finish their "appetiser" before you can order the beef of your choice, and be prepared, the portion of the appetiser is quite substantial. The appetiser only have 4 pieces of wagyu beef, others are ox tongue and rump steak ...( but these are not what we came for) After that we can order our wagyu beef, but it only comes in 4 pieces at a time. The first serving is ok, but subsequent serving are disappointing: the 2nd serving have 4 pieces of wagyu with big portion of complete fat, the 3rd and 4th servings of wagyu beef are mixed with 2 rump steak covered by 2 wagyu steak (this is cheating! we ordered wagyu beef only!) As tourists from Hong Kong, we don't want to make a big fuzz out of it, so we let it pass that time. However, let others be warned. All in all, the wagyu beef is good, and the environment is clean and ventilation is very good, no smelly clothes afterwards.

We came here for lunch and it was delicious! All of the food was so good and reasonably priced and the staff were great too. We had a larger group (9) and so reservations were needed. We had a box made for one person in our group who couldn’t come and it was packaged so nicely. First time eating wa...gyu and oh wow! Definitely a place we want to go back to!

“Yakiniku”

With the recent re-opening of japan to tourists, many places in Shinjuku have started to get busy. We managed to get a table here without reservations. The restaurant offers several all-you-can-eat menus but we weren’t too hungry and ordered a la carte instead. It came to approx JPY15,000 for 2 for ...a generous premium wagyu selection, a few side dishes and non-alcoholic drinks. The price is reasonable considering the cuts of beef served. We were seated in a private booth but service was prompt and attentive even though the waiter barely spoke English. This place isn’t luxurious but a solid choice to eat wagyu at a reasonable price.

My hotel recommended this place for dinner and it was EXCELLENT and not overly priced. It was my 1st time eating Wagyu beef and I damn near passed out because it was so good! Taiga was my waiter and he was awesome! He explained all the pieces of meat to me and prepared it to perfection for me at m...y table. I was so full by the end that I couldn't finish everything!

“Fabulous Yakinuku”

Yakiniku is the best Japanese eating experience in my opinion and this one, which is very close to Shinjuku Station, is a fantastic on. Booths are private and very clean. There is a great selection of meat and vegetables and the all-in packages including unlimited drinks (at least until all your foo...d dishes are delivered). This means that you keep drinking and eating all night. There are some unusual meat cuts (to a westerner) but you are in Japan so try it!
