“AVOID THIS BRANCH! The worst service ever!”
If I could give them 0 stars that would be more accurate. Came here for my son's bday. Had 10 people in our party. Arrived upon their opening, had no reservations, and were seated immediately. We caught a total of 7 fish, ALL FROM THE $50 - $60 tank. Those were the only fish biting! It was l...ike they had fed (over fed) all of the cheaper fish like the Seabream (Tai) in the $30 tanks! The fish swam along snubbing all of the different types of bait we tried, and believe me we all tried to catch the cheaper ones! The worse part of this branch is the wait staff. Be aware that they will not serve you at all once the business lunch crowd comes in and they all order from the set lunch menus, no fishing for them. Want water? Your food? Your bill?!? Good luck. We wasted over 2 hrs in this place. 1.5 hrs just waiting for all of our food to come out. We finally got fed up and demanded our bill. We paid without ever receiving our last 3 dishes. 2 people in my party spoke a little Japanese and were able to communicate with them okay. No English at this branch. I also left this review on Yelp.

When we read about a restaurant where we can catch our own fish we were excited and called Zauo in Kamedo. We were already hungry when we arrived there. So we ordered a drink and started fishing. The first 15 minutes it was okay. But after 45 minutes we almost starved. The fish were all inactive an...d seemed lifeless. So we wanted to give up and asked the staff if they could just get us 2 of them. But they couldn't understand a word and brought us another bait. First it didn't work too... but suddenly we caught one. After we came back to our seats, our drinks were already warm and without gas. We were happy when the food finally arrived. All in all the food is good but not worth the price. Besides it lasted a long time til we got our food. And btw it was very cold in the restaurant so better take a jacket with you.
