“Needs some improvement ”
While in Tokyo, my concierge recommended this restaurant for dinner.But when I was ordering fatty tuna rolls the waiter said I couldn’t have some. This was either because I am a child and she thought that I would get sick from the raw fish and would blame it on them, they didn’t understand English t...hat much, or they just had ran out. This might be a useless point but they could have told me why.So we ended up getting an eight course meal and a selection of sushi witch was quite delicious.We thought the beef was the best.

“Nice restaurant, good food!”
Visited Shunju for dinner with the family. As tourists who don’t speak Japanese, it was a great to have waiting staff who spoke good English and could help with ordering. The sashimi and sushi was excellent, tempura was superb (light and fluffy), and the wagyu sirloin exceptional ! Would recomm...end to anyone visiting Tokyo who would like an authentic Japanese meal.

“Great food experience”
Beautiful Japanese dishes. Great Saké. We used one of the seperate rooms. The restaurant in full of cosy and private tables. Really great for business and romantic diners.

“Good spot”
We were recommended to go to Shunju Tsugihagi by the concierge in our hotel. We were impressed by the nice decor and friendly welcoming staff. We chose the set menu which we both enjoyed - food was tasty and fresh. A good choice for a business dinner as it was quiet and tables were well spaced.

“Delightful”
Fabulous fresh sushi, huge selections of fresh delicious fish, sea urchin and generous portions. Only complaint were the small pours of wine.
