Kaikagetsu

駅からは少し離れています。そして暗かったせいもありお店の場所が分かりにくい。隠れ家的なせいでしょうか。 料理は丁寧に作られていると感じましたが、味、食材ともに普通でした。日本酒のメニューが豊富みたいなので、お酒が好きな人には良いかもしれません。 It is a bit far from Nogizaka station. And because it was dark, the location of the restaurant was difficult to find. I felt that cooking was carefully made, but both taste an...d ingredients were normal. There were many kinds of Sake, so it may be good for people who like Sake.

We were hosted at this dinner by our Japanese client. As is evident by looking at the reviews (all in Japanese) and the fact that we were the only non-Japanese diners in the restaurant, this is not on the western tourist map. The food was very good (all ordered by our hosts). Started with sashimi..., then sushi salad, yakitori, vegetables, and two types of cooked fish. Everything was very tasty. Good choice of beers beyond the usual light Japanese lager (we started with a red ale) and a nice selection of sake. We even had a bottle of Japanese chardonnay (never knew it existed). A great experience in Roppongi.
