“Underwhelming Deluxe Bento Box”
I ordered the deluxe Bento Box to go (the most expensive of the three Bento boxes). When I received it, I was struck by how light it was. When I got it home I saw that in addition to the miniscule portions, it was mostly rice. The experience left me disappointed and still hungry.

“A lot of good food ”
Excellent diverse selection of Japanese selection From the classical miso soup to rice, noodles, frying your own vegetables and meat. Recommended but be prepared for the price

“Great Meal”
I wanted to celebrate a personal milestone by myself and this restaurant was recommended by my friend. I had the sukiyaki hotpot meal. A little expensive but the quality of the meal was excellent! Every dish from the appetizers to the dessert was beautifully done and delicious! Service was great, ...too! A little difficult to communicate with the language barrier but didn't hinder the amazing dining experience.

“Brilliant meat but bad service.”
We went there and a waiter just tried to force us to order special meal which cost ¥25000 per person, this makes us pretty uncomfortable. Their set menu can only be ordered by two or more. We ordered two shabu shabu sets and some meat, meats are brilliant! However, they sent dishes so fast and doesn...’t care if you’ve finished your meal or not. Feel like they just try to send you away ASAP Again, meat is good, but service needs to be improved.

“Exceptional Restaurant”
We have been on a two week 50th Wedding Anniversary trip with our very good Japanese friends. We have been taken to many excellent restaurants but I have only felt the "NEED" to mention Bakuro. The meat used at this restaurant comes from a place in Japan that is noted for its beef. In fact our fri...ends told us that this restaurant purchases the whole cow. The beef was fantastic. It is the equal Sendai beef. And if you know Japanese beef it is thougth to be the best. But then what will shock you is the price. We all expected the normal Japan high price but low and behold the price was extremely moderate. Even if the price was much much more the qualtity of the meal was worth the price.
