What a wonderful end to our trip to Kyoto. Fantastic food, excellent, kind staff. Fantastic bar area created from one single tree. La Bombance is not to be missed.

Traveling for work and was taken here for a good experience, was thoughtful and there was a good variety but lacked a little excitement, lots of soup based options. Sparking sake was great, but was told to be quiet for laughing. Killed the vibe a bit.

Creative in not only the dishes, but the riddles on the menu. The owner...Kawamotosan, is just hysterical and good natured. The food seriously is just so incredible. I have been 3 times and I ordered oseichi ryori 1 time. These people are serious about making your experience memorable. I will a...lways be a fan of this place until the day I drop dead...hopefully after partaking of a splendid meal here!!!

“Perfect again”
I visit La Bombance whenever I am in Tokyo and I never tire of their food, service and atmosphere. The owner-chef is always there to greet guests. I highly recommend this restaurant for the modern Japanese cuisine which is always beautifully displayed with attention to every detail.
