“BEWARE - Pay trap to be avoided!”
BEWARE: this restaurant does nowhere specify that they don't accept cash money ¥en and no foreign credit-cards! only locally issued ones. Then you are stuck in a very uncomfortable disaster and will probably end up in a local jail....the only solution would be if you are lucky enough to have a japan...ese resident with you who can pay with his domestic credit-card! So that nowhere advertised policy ruined my dinner here.

“Best grilled fish ever”
A very kind and generous Japanese host ordered the nodoguro set dinner for us. The 1st starter had spinach topped w shredded crab, a snail, a fish ball and a quarter dried apricot. I love the fish ball which was soft n chewy. The crab on the spinash was fresh n sweet. That was followed by a plate of ...sashimi consisting of 2 cuts fr the nodoguro (black throat sea perch), tuna, uni and another fish I couldnt identify. The nodoguro was v fresh and has a clean, sweet taste. The uni was v fresh n umami. The sashimi was followed by grilled nodoguro, my favorite. The fish was seasoned just w salt in the skin. However the fish was grilled expertly such that the flesh was v moist n sweet. Apparently autumn n winter are the best time to savour nodoguro as they are fattest then n i felt really blessed to have the chance to eat it in winter. After the grilled fish, we had the seafood hotpot. Generous slices of nodoguro, crab, huge prawns, leek, fish n meat balls, tofu were added to stock. I loved the fish slices n the rich stock the best. After the hotpot came a pot of rice cooked w more nodoguro. I tried the rice on its own n w some of the stock fr the hotpot and prefers the version w the stock. We finished with dessert of warabimochi by which time were were so full we could hardly appreciate the dessert. The nodoguro dishes were evidently cooked by v skilled chefs who managed to bring out or preserve the textures and flavors. The servings were generous. This is a restaurant I would love to return to.

“Excellent dinner and service”
This restaurant situates at the heart of Ginza, just right across from the Millennium Mitsui Hotel and a minute walk away from major department stores. There are four price ranges to choose from. I had chosen the course that comes with fish shabu shabu, sashimi, fried half fish and a pot boiled ri...ce with fish. The restaurant majorly serves one kind of fish, that is, nodoguro. It is a kind of white fish with not much bones and the texture is soft and tender with a hint of sweetness. The host of the restaurant speaks good english and really friendly that like to mangle with customers. The dishes are made in a very traditional japanese way and the amount served is way above average. I hope that fish lovers will give this restaurant a try and I will definitely go back in my next trip.
