“This is Fast Food”
This is not a restaurant, it is a small shop with a bar and around maybe fourteen or fifteen bar stools. On entry the customer is required to order and pay for their choice of meal at an electronic vending machine. The resulting receipt is then handed to the operative behind the bar, who then dishes... up your order which is eaten seated on one of the bar stools. The curry meal was OK but seated on a bar stool to eat it was not our preferred choice. Make no mistake, it was well attended by local Japanese clientel so I am guessing it is OK with them!

“Not all C&C are the same”
You'd expect that franchises would achieve uniformity with what they deliver, but sadly not the case here. I had C&C previously (also in Shinjuku, but not in the station) and really enjoyed it - enough to revisit the franchise the following day. No customisation options for the rice and spice level ...at this one - more of a one size fits all approach. Go to the a different store for a better experience.

“Really!?”
Got basic curry with vegetables nothing special sat watched 5 ppl come in after me and get their food. What going on are you planting vegetables and waiting for them to grow...? Meal was cheap haven't even had chance to try the food still waiting. If your not Japanese don't come here make you wait w...hile everyone else gets their meal. Not worth it. 22 mins later food and it's just ok.

“Must try Japanese curry when in Japan”
It was lunchtime and I saw a queue forming at the curry shop. What I liked was the choice of size of serving and the level of spicyness. Needless to say, it was yummy. But the mild spicy curry I ordered had no hint of spicyness. Still it was delicious, the rice was cooked to perfection and my plat...e was clean at the end of the meal.
