“Still exquisite ”
My second visit and Equisse is still exquisite in every way. There are no low notes and the course set from the uni bite maintains a high strata level projection. My wife just a few weeks earlier was in NY at La Bernardine and confirmed that the food there was inferior in quality. Every dish ...had a rich depth of flavour and combinations that made this a great experience. The sommelier and wait staff were wonderful, their explanations were insightful and entertaining.

“Good food very small portions for very expensive price.”
Nice place, nice atmosphere, great service and great food, but tiny portions need microscope to see them.

Girl at reception put our coats unattended on a bench like a rag and brought us to the table. No different choices in still water. Food is good but lacks wow factor. Pigeon skin was not crispy. Window view is at pipes and roofs. Not impressed and uninspiring.

“The best in Tokyo”
I have tried maybe 5 to 6 michelin restaurants in Tokyo. Up till now, I like this restaurant the best. Considered value for money, and into details. Proved that the chef really think hard to serve the best to his customers. All the food served is just cooked to perfection, I love it. We went there ...for lunch, will try again for dinner. Service is good as well. 10 out of 10.

“Excellent, creative cuisine”
Deservedly on the “worlds 50 best” list. Attractive room, well spaced tables, gracious service. But the food is what it’s about. The chef trained at Troisgros, nothing more needs be said. Excellent Japanese/French fusion food. The Sommelier, Kenichi Ota was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. ...
