“Worth waiting”
The wait was definitely worth it! We ordered the meal set with tonkatsu, which came with rice, pickles, miso soup, and a complimentary cabbage salad. Also an egg that was great with a very tasty sauce. Everything was delicious! I can't wait to go back ASAP!

“Amazing Katsu”
We had tried to try this place many times but there was usually we a line. We went on a random weeknight and were able to get a table. I now know why this place is so popular – it is really good. My partner tried crab cream croquette and the katsu Scottish egg and menchiktsu (diced up meat) set, a...nd I had the hire (fillet) katsu. Everything was delicious – they clearly the use high quality pork. They also have a chicken breast katsu that looks really good for those who do not eat pork. If I can get a table, I will go again. Service was very prompt and polite and the atmosphere is a typical Japanese (pretty tight on the inside).

“Great Service”
It was our first night in Tokyo and we stumbled in here by chance. Most diners were on their own. We ordered the chicken and pork katsu which came with shredded cabbage, steamed rice, mitso soup, sauces and pickles. We hadn’t expected so much food. It was excellent value.

“The best sasamikatsu!”
First time there and it was recommended by a friend. I ordered a half seafood/half chicken katsu meal. The chicken sasamikatsu is so tender and soft, but the prawn/scallop katsu are ok...will definitely visit again but next time, I will just order the basic sasamikatsu (chicken) meal.

“Best katsu in Tokyo”
I've eaten here a few times and it's always amazing. It's an unassuming little place, but that belies the quality of the food - melt-in-the-mouth meat. There can be queues but it's worth it.
