I went there to have lunch with my family. We went there from overseas and this particular waitress was rude and did not come to us to take order. She was only interested to take orders from regular customers. We had to wait quite a while to get their service. The food was good but quite disappointe...d with the level of service they provided.

Founded in 1968, Ueno's solid skill and taste of Edomae sushi are proof of the tr...ust of the shop and customers, as the aclumulated history tells. 🍣 アメ横の人気の高級寿司屋 "よし寿司"さんへ…🍣 気にはなってはいましたが、人気のお店なのでお客さんが落ち着いた時間帯を見計らって店内へ… 特上寿司を注文します…🍣 職人さんが握るお寿司屋は時価…🙄 お会計するまで幾らかわからない?? ようなお寿司屋さんが存在するのも事実… 日本の仕来りみたいなものがありますが、 よし寿司さんは明朗会計🙂 ネタも技も接客も粋で大満足🍣 夜でしたが寿司の内容も味も良かったです🍣 また行きます🙂

We try this restaurant after a walk on the market. Staff is really great and help you with choice in English, if (like us) you are not Japanese. One of the chef also say “ciao” in italian to us, very kindly. Sushi is handmade and really clean and taste so good. We try also sake: very nice. Id we com...e back to Japan, for sure we still eat here.

After shopping at Okachimachi and maybe even after wondering in a little market streets between Okachimachi and Ueno, treat yourself to sushi. This places offers different sushi sets for a reasonable price or you can order Nigiri and other dishes from the menu. They do have English menu and the staf...f can speak enough to help you choose.
